Insurance Backed Guarantees For Home Improvement Installations

GDGC is an insurance broker that specialises in the supply of Insurance Backed Guarantees (IBGs) for home improvement installations.

Our Home Improvement IBG is a specialist insurance product that offers protection for home improvement installations in the event an installer ceases to trade and is unable to honour their written guarantee.

The IBGs are registered and paid for by the installer, and provide insurance cover for up to a 10 year period.

What Are The Benefits Of Using A GDGC Accredited Installer?

Vetted & Accredited Installers

Vetted & Accredited Installers

Before obtaining the status of a GDGC Accredited Installer, installers most first undergo our vetting and accreditation procedure. All successful applicants that make it through this process are then subject to regular audit checks, which consist of the following:

  • Background checks against the directors / proprietors;
  • Credit history checks against the company;
  • Financial stability checks against the company;
  • Checks for evidence of installation qualifications;
  • Checks they carry both Public and Employers liability insurances (Not applicable for all sole traders).

* These are just some of the cover limits and features of the insurance policies that we can arrange. We are not the insurer and cover is subject to the insurer’s full policy terms and conditions. Not all selected installers can purchase deposit & stage payment protection. If you would like to know more about the features, benefits, exclusions, and limitations of the policies we offer, please feel free to contact us.
